2011 True Education Conference
Intoduction: This year we are again holding our annual Education Conference at the Berea Gardens agricultural training center near Minnora, West Virginia. Below you will find additional information regarding this event. The goal of this Education Conference is to bring back into focus the primary purpose of Christian education in the context of the three angels' messages; to discern the difference between true Biblically based education and worldly education with some Bible sandwiched in; to review how God has led, and His teaching in our past educational history. Much of that history lies buried and forgotten, and needs to be revived and reviewed to learn its lessons.
WHAT: Special meetings to discuss issues of true education, educational developments of Adventist history, and the current needs of God's people; how we got where we are; what we can do; first hand experiences in educational endeavors seeking principles of true education, model schools that were set up in pioneer days of Seventh-day Adventistism and what happened to them, opportunities for questions and answers, etc.
WHERE: At the BEREA GARDENS CENTER near Minnora, West Virginia
SPEAKERS: Elvin Easton, Bob Gregory, Norbert Restrepo, Jerry Travers, Charles Galimore, Bob Jorgensen, Mark Heisey, Steve Meyer, and others
WHEN: Starting Friday, November 25, at 9:00 AM and ending Sunday, November 27, 2011.
