Agriculture Conference
2011 Agriculture Conference
Introduction: The second conference we have organized, this Agriculture Conference is for the purpose of gathering presenters with agricultural involvement in Adventism who would like to discuss the role of agriculture in God's purpose for His people in the last days.
For example:
What role does growing food have in our preparation for the time when we can't buy or sell?
Is agricultural an essential part of the demonstration to be made by God's people in the last days?
What role does agricultural involvement have in the character development of God's people?
Is agriculture an indispensable facet of true education?
Is agriculture an important tool of evangelism in the last days?
How does agriculture relate to health work as the right arm of the gospel?
What about the moral implications of eating food grown with GMO amalgamation techniques?
Does God want His people to grow and eat food with different methods than the Babylonian methods based on greed and control?
WHO IS INVITED: All who are interested in these issues and discussions, and who would want to hear presentations on these topics.
WHAT: Special meetings for Seventh-day Adventists to discuss the role of agriculture in the preparation of God's people for final events in earth's history, as well as in the development of character and education of God's people in the last days, and as a part of God's demonstration of the principles of God's government in the resolution of the great conflict between Christ and Satan, and in the context of the three angel's messages.

“No line of manual training is of more value than agriculture. A greater effort should be made to create and to encourage an interest in agricultural pursuits. Let the teacher call attention to what the Bible says about agriculture: that it was God's plan for man to till the earth; that the first man, the ruler of the whole world, was given a garden to cultivate; and that many of the world's greatest men, its real nobility, have been tillers of the soil.” -Education, p. 219
